A ANVISA – Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária – é uma autarquia vinculada ao Ministério da Saúde, que tem como objetivo controlar e regular a área sanitária de serviços e produtos, tanto os nacionais quanto os importados que aqui chegam. A IBRAMED, como fabricante de equipamentos médicos, está dentro da área abrangida pela ANVISA e cumpre com as exigências por ela definidas. A IBRAMED está registrada sob o número 103603-1 na ANVISA.
Todos os equipamentos da IBRAMED possuem o selo do INMETRO – Instituto Nacional de Metrologia, Qualidade e Tecnologia. É compulsório que todo equipamento médico tenha essa certificação. Para isso, os equipamentos passam por ensaios de conformidade, de acordo com os seus tipos, em laboratórios acreditados por ele.
A ISO 13485 também é uma norma de Sistema de Gestão da Qualidade (SGQ), sendo direcionada especificamente para empresas da área médica e estabelecendo requisitos que contemplam desde a fase do desenvolvimento até o atendimento pós-mercado.

O FDA – Food and Drug Administration – é o órgão regulador dos Estados Unidos responsável pelo controle dos alimentos (tanto para humanos quanto para animas), suplementos alimentares, medicamentos (para humanos e animais), cosméticos, equipamentos médicos, materiais biológicos e produtos derivados do sangue humano. A IBRAMED atende às exigências desse órgão. Seu número de registro é o 03026070.
